Below are a couple of maps associated with The Chronicles of Aertu
This is the one I used to scale distances. In some cases, I literally counted individual pixels along the route to properly scale the timeline of the story. Though the map is rectangular, I scaled the land masses properly, so that only the oceans and the extreme polar lands are stretched. Consequently, the oversea distance from Arkus to the other landmasses looks longer than it actually is, but the island is not stretched out of proportion, nor are the extreme northern and southern regions of the continent.

Here is the map of the main continent of Aertu included in the first two books. The denizens thereof have no specific name for their continent, as the individual countries refer to their territories under those names and use their own names for the world as a whole. Aertu is the Sudean name for the world. Before the arrival of the Arkans, men and dwarves knew of no other major land masses aside from Elvenholm, where few men and no dwarves had ever visited. Elves simply referred to the landmass as the continent.
