Cover Design

Hello All,

Editing is complete for the second edition of Sign of the White Raven. Changes for this edition were not as drastic as for The Halfblood King; mostly editorial, with one additional chapter and some minor expansion in the existing chapters.

We are currently waiting for initial sketches from the cover design team. It is going a bit slower than last time. For the sake of continuity, I asked for the same artist and typographer that worked on the last volume, and I suspect that the artist had more work in progress than last time. Miblart was remarkably fast for volume one, as I suspect ours was the only project for the artist at that time, and I got a little spoiled by the quick turnaround.

I submitted descriptions of several scenes from the book, but have not received any feedback from the artist as to which one she will go with first. Hopefully, this cover turns out as good as the last. I was very happy with the finished product for The Halfblood King.

2 June 2023 Update: Well, the cover art is complete, and here is the result:

Sign of the White Raven is now available on Kindle and in paperback. The hardcover version is published but may be several days before it is available to buy.
